Xenia Sergejew graduated from the Sworn Translators' course in Russian at the University of Buenos Aires. She also works as an English Translator and has a broad and varied experience in legal, technical, business related translation work, as well as in medicine, economy, finance, engineering, architecture and legal procedure. Since 2002 she has worked as a freelance translator in interpreting and translation projects for several Argentine and Russian companies. As from 2009 she mainly works for governmental agencies.

Before becoming a freelance translator she worked as an English teacher at St. Catherine’s School (1989-2005). Furthermore, she taught at English Teaching Centre(1998) and Leeds School of English (2001), and was in-company teacher at different corporations. She has been teaching Russian at the Argentine Foreign Affairs Training Center from 2006 to 2009.

Not only did Xenia Sergejew finish her primary and secondary studies at St. Catherine’s School, but also she took the Teacher Training course at the same institution. Moreover she attended to several translation and teaching lectures and workshops, including:
